Dre DiLorenzo
Dre DiLorenzo began her dance journey as a Star Dance Alliance competitor before booking her first professional role as Clara in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Following that experience, she shifted her focus to ballet, training intensively with New Jersey Ballet and touring throughout the state in full-length productions performed at venues such as NJPAC, the Mayo Performing Arts Center, and others. She later reprised her role as Clara in The Nutcracker at Paper Mill Playhouse for three consecutive years. Dre also expanded her classical training during summers in New York City with American Ballet Theatre, Joffrey, and Juilliard.
Beyond the stage, Dre’s professional career spans major sporting and entertainment events including performances at the US Open at Arthur Ashe Stadium, the inaugural Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami, and three seasons in the NFL as a Miami Dolphins Cheerleader, where she was named Co-Captain and Veteran of the Year for the 2023-2024 season. As part of her leadership role, she directed the Junior Dolphins Cheer and Ballet Clinics, training and choreographing for hundreds of dancers, and has performed alongside artists such as Rick Ross, Trina, Trick Daddy, Uncle Luke, and Jhay Cortez. Her inspiring journey from ballet to the NFL was also featured in a published article by Business Insider.
Now based in New York City, Dre is the founder of Dre’s Dance Prep, a virtual and in-person training program that helps dancers pursue careers on NFL, NBA, and professional sports teams. In just one year, her dancers have earned spots on teams including the Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars, Cincinnati Bengals, and other professional sports organizations. She is passionate about helping the next generation of dancers achieve their professional dreams through mentorship, technical development, and community.
